Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so long... it's been a busy last couple of months. In February, our team coordinator came from the states to visit and check in on the team and we got to go down to Cha-am, Thailand for a mid-year conference. The conference was a time of refreshment and rest, to be with other teams in the region and celebrate what God has done as well as mourn what has been hard.
After a week in Cha-am, we went back up to Chiang Mai where we made the decision to head back to the states. We decided to head home two months early for a couple of reasons. There were a lot of team unity issues, health issues, and the spiritual warfare was very heavy. For those reasons, we decided that it would be best for the team to head home a little early. With that said, I learned and experienced a lot this year. It was really hard at times but God's goodness did shine through the hard times. God taught me a lot about what it looks like to trust him through the unknown and hard situations. He showed me what it looks like to step out of my comfort zone for the sake of the gospel and trust The Holy Spirit with the results. He taught me what it looks like to trust him through weakness, sickness, and hardship.
Now I have been in Florida for the last month taking some time to process this year and readjust to the states before heading home to PA. It's been really nice to have some time to process and prepare for what's next. In late May I plan on joining staff with a traveling youth camp called Engage. Until then I will be raising support for Engage and spending time with friends and family. Thank you so much to everyone who has been thinking of and praying for me throughout the course of this amazing journey God has brought me on. I do ask for continued prayer as I continue to adjust back to the states and as I raise support for Engage this coming May. Thank you again for all of the prayer and support!
Micah :)
